Charles Riedel, MD

Dr. Riedel obtained his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati of Medicine in 1984. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at the New York Neurological Institute, Columbia- Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, where he was former Chief Resident and the Assistant Professor for the Department of Neurological Surgery. He was also Assistant Professor for the Department of Neurological Surgery at GWU Medical Center. Dr. Riedel is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.


Donald Wright, MD

Dr. Wright received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1975 and completed his residency under Charles B. Wilson, MD, at the University of California, San Francisco in 1982. He has held academic positions at the National Institutes of Health (Surgical Neurology Branch), Georgetown University, the Oregon Health Sciences University, the University of Pittsburgh, and the GWU Medical Center. Dr. Wright is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Research Society of Neurosurgery and the North American Skull Base Society.


Abraham Kader, MD

Dr. Kader completed his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine in 1987 and completed his residency at neurosurgery residency at Columbia University, Columbia- Presbyterian Medical Center. He was the Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Director of Cerebrovascular Surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Kader is board certified by the American Board of Neurosurgical Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.


Sid Chandela, MD

Dr. Chandela received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University with Honors and completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Chandela is one of only 90 "hybrid-trained" neurosurgeons nationwide (one of only 90 neurosurgeons in the United States trained in both endovascualar and traditional open neurosurgical procedures) and is the only one in Northern Virginia to offer microsurgical and endovascular treatment options for cerebrovascular disease. Besides general neurosurgery, his expertise includes microsurgical and endovascular treatment of cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, brain bypass for ischemia, treatment of carotid stenosis, tumor emobolization, spinal angiography, and interventional revascularization of stroke and intracrainal stenosis. Dr. Chandela has extensive experience in minimally invasive complex spine surgery.
